What?
The TRIO/ETS Program seeks to:
-
Provide opportunities for middle and high school students from underrepresented populations.*
-
Increase the number of those students to enroll in and complete their postsecondary education.
*Underrepresented populations include first-generation college students, students from low-income families, students of color, students with different learning or physical abilities, and more.
Who?
-
Rising 6th-12th Graders
-
Caldwell County Residents
- US Citizens
- Meets at least one of the following requirements:
- Will be a 1st Generation College Student (neither parent has completed a 4-year degree)
- Meets federal low-income income guidelines
- Has a physical or learning difference, but is still college-capable (this can include ADHD, anxiety, depression, chronic invisible illnesses, and more)
