TRIO Travel
Each year, TRIO will host at least one overnight trip. These opportunities are open to all current TRIO students, though sometimes they may be designed for just high school or just middle school students.
Overnight Trips
The following things will factor into who gets approved for our TRIO overnight trips.
Application
Overnight trips will almost always require an application to attend. Kristin and Sarah will share applications with students in advance.
Attendance at TRIO Events
When you come to TRIO events (including virtual, our monthly workshops/events, or anything else), we keep track of attendance. When you apply for overnight TRIO trips, attendance at previous TRIO events will count as a "bonus point" for your application.
Grades
One of the things we will look at when deciding who goes on trips is grades. You don't need to have the best grades -- in fact, you can have struggled in or even failed a class. We just want to see you putting in a strong effort to achieve good grades. If you're struggling, let Kristin or Sarah know.
Dreamcatcher Guides
On our "Student" pages, we've linked several virtual resources for you. These guides cover a variety of topics, including:

Once you've completed reviewing the guide, you can take the accompanying quiz. This will show us that you read over the material and will count as a "bonus point" when we consider your travel application. Every quiz that you submit will count as a separate bonus point.
School Attendance
Like grades, we will also consider your school attendance. If you have excessive absences, we'll want to see if there are any problems or struggles we should know about.
Nucleus Courses
